Man paralyzed after shooting in Clarksville; police search for persons of interest

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police are searching for two persons of interest in a shooting case that left an 18-year-old man paralyzed.

According to Clarksville Police officials, it happened Saturday around 6:30 p.m. on Cedarcrest Drive.

At the scene, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to the back. He was flown to Nashville in stable condition.

Police believe the man got into an argument and physical confrontation which led to the shooting. The men were not total strangers.

Officers are searching for 19-year-old Mark Broaden Jr. and 20-year-old Melvin Thomas, saying they may have information on the shooting.
