A man was rescued from a river bank after his kayak apparently capsized in Rutherford County.
The incident was reported overnight along the river in Milton.
Officials said two men were kayaking when both boats flipped. One man came up immediately; however, the other did not.
Search crews were called out to look for the missing man after finding his abandoned kayak.
He was found a short time later and rescued on the bank. Neither man was seriously hurt.
