NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was shot while trying to break into an apartment in Bordeaux early Monday morning, Metro Nashville police said.
Officers were called to the Overlook Ridge Apartments on Buena Vista Pike at about 12:30a.m. Monday.
Investigators said a man was banging on the door of one of the units, then broke in through a window. That's when he was shot by a man who was inside the apartment.
The burglar was shot in the wrist and taken to the hospital. According to police, the shooter took off and hasn't been caught yet. It's unclear why he left the scene.
