Police say 'lingering dispute' may have led to deadly shooting outside Nashville bar

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say a "lingering dispute" may have led to a deadly shooting outside a Nashville bar.

The call came in around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday outside Larry’s Bar on Brick Church Pike. Officers arrived and found 29-year-old Brandon M. Jones lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was taken to TriStar Skyline Hospital, where he later died. Police say Jones had been at the bar for a party.

Detectives said they’re following up on leads in the shooting, which may have stemmed from a previous dispute.
