NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was critically injured in a shooting in North Nashville early Monday morning.
According to Metro Nashville police, officers were called to 17th Avenue North at about 1 a.m. They found a man who had been shot in the leg. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries.
Investigators believe that he was shot during a robbery attempt.
The suspect ran from the scene and wasn't caught.
