A man injured when an attempted robbery turned into a shooting at a home in Madison.
According to officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department, two suspects tried to rob the resident of a home on the 300 May Drive.
The witness described them as two men dressed in all black came in through the back door.
Police said once inside, they demanded narcotics from the victim then one of the suspects shot him in the back of the head.
The victim was conscious and alert and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
