BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was shot in an attempted armed robbery in the Maryland Farms area of Brentwood Thursday night.
It happened near the police department and city hall on Maryland Way. Police say two men got away one of which was wearing a "Venom" mask.
The victim was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.
Officials say they don't believe there is an active threat to anyone in the area.
