NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police say a man suffered a non-life-threatening injury after he was shot in the back just south of downtown Nashville.
The shooting happened early Monday morning on Claiborne Street. According to police, the suspect rode up on a bicycle and began talking to the victim.
At some point, the suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at him. Investigators say they “exchanged words” and the suspect started shooting.
The victim was struck and taken to an area hospital. Police did not release a description of the suspect.
