Man shot, killed in drug-related robbery, Metro police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police said a 23-year-old man was shot and killed during a drug-related robbery on Monday night.

Officers said Adam Pickle was shot at the Villages of Meadowood Apartments on Rice Road shortly before 7 p.m. According to police, Pickle, who is from Smyrna, went to the apartment complex to sell a small amount of marijuana when he was approached by two men who attempted to rob him. Pickle tried to drive away but was shot.

Investigators are pursuing active leads in the shooting, but no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
