NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say they are following leads on a deadly shooting outside a gas station in North Nashville early Sunday morning.
Metro Police responded to the EZ-Mart on the 2600 block of Clarksville Pike around 1:30 a.m. They found Donpatric Buford, 21, in the parking lot, with multiple gunshot wounds.
Buford was taken to Vanderbilt, where he died.
Officials say their investigation shows Buford had gotten out of a sedan and talked with the driver of another vehicle for several minutes, when the driver allegedly shot Buford and drove off.
Police say the people from Buford's car also drove off.
No suspects are in custody.
