Man sought for convenience store robbery in Wilson County

LEBANON, Tenn. (WTVF) — A suspect in the robbery of a Marathon convenience store is now sought by Wilson County Sheriff's Office (WCSO).

The robbery took place on December 11 around 8:30 p.m. at the Marathon located at Interstate 40 and Linwood Road, WCSO said.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set white male who is possibly in his mid to late 40's. He was wearing a long-sleeve, red Smoothie King shirt.

The suspect was armed.

After the robbery, the suspect fled and followed I-40 westbound, toward Nashville.

Anyone with information is asked to call Wilson County Crime Stoppers at (615) 444-5245. Callers can remain anonymous. WCSO says a cash reward of up to $500 is being offered for information that leads to the suspect's identification, prosecution and conviction.
