Police have been actively searching for a man wanted in a robbery at a local gas station.
The crime happened after 3 p.m. Friday at the Delta Express gas station in the 400 block of Harding Place.
Reports stated a male suspect wearing a mask and hooded jacket walked into the store and pointed a gun at the clerk.
The clerk handed over cash, and the suspect took off on foot down Harding Place headed toward Interstate 65 North.
Authorities were searching the area with the help of K9 units. Anyone with information on the suspect's identity or whereabouts has been asked to contact the Metro Nashville Police Department.
