Police have been searching for a man wanted in a murder in the James Cayce public housing development.
Authorities said they’re seeking 40-year-old Shanon Pleasant as the alleged shooter in the murder of 39-year-old Horace Whitley.
Whitley was fatally shot on Tuesday on South 8th Court. Reports stated he was shot inside an apartment before being dragged to a nearby treeline.
Reports stated Pleasant was last known to have lived on Joseph Avenue. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
The motive in the fatal shooting was unknown.
