NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was stabbed overnight while intervening in an altercation in the Nashville area.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday at a Mapco on Old Hickory Boulevard near Central Pike in Hermitage.
Metro Police say a man got into an argument with a woman at the gas station and her friend stepped in to help.
The suspect stabbed the victim in the stomach and ran off.
Police haven't yet caught the suspect. It's unclear if the incident was captured on surveillance video.
The victim is expected to survive.
