Man struck, killed by motorcycle in Nashville Friday night

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was killed after being struck by a motorcycle Friday evening in Nashville.

According to Metro police, 39-year-old Randy Shatto Jr. was attempting to cross the street outside of a crosswalk near the 300 block of Myatt Drive.

Shatto was then hit by a northbound Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was taken to Skyline Medical Center, where he died.

The driver of the motorcycle suffered injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police say there was no indication of impairment on the part of either person.
