A man was struck and killed Monday night on Trinity Lane in Nashville.
The incident happened at 7:15 p.m. at Interstate 65. Police said 51-year-old Wesley Ferrell was attempting to cross Trinity Lane when he was struck.
The driver, 30-year-old Anastasia Rawlings, told police that he walked in front of her car and she was unable to avoid the collision.
Police said he was not in a crosswalk and may have been going to a homeless camp in the nearby wood line. Ferrell was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
