NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Police are investigating a shooting after a man was shot walking southbound on 16th Avenue North late Thursday night.
The victim, a 22-year-old male reported he was approaching Buchanan Street when someone fired three shot behind him, hitting him in the head and arm.
After being hit, the victim staggered into the street where a passerby stopped to check on him. The driver then transported the victim to General Hospital.
Once stabilized, the victim was transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
Currently there is no description of the suspect but the investigation is ongoing.
