Police said they found the man, later identified as 39-year-old Robert Newsom, in the street with gunshot wounds to his torso and leg. Reports stated he was shot outside his home. He had just returned from getting pizza in the 100 block of Gallatin Pike North.
Authorities said family members inside the home heard arguing outside before the shooting.
