Fugitive Found Hiding In Antioch Storm Drain

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A fugitive wanted on charges in Warren County was spotted hiding in a storm drain in Antioch overnight.

Officials with Metro police said William Wilson claims he had been hiding in the storm drain for nine hours. He was found by a woman who was walking in a parking lot near the Global Mall at the Crossings.

She heard a noise coming from the drain, looked down and found a man inside. She immediately called for help. 

Crews from the Nashville Fire Department responded and had to go down into the drain to get Wilson out. Once they got to him, police said a chase ensued inside the drain.

He was finally apprehended and loaded into the back of a patrol car. 

According to officials, Wilson was wanted in Warren County on failing to appear in circuit court on drug charges.
