Metro Nashville Police officials are searching for a convicted felon believed to be responsible for a shooting in Nashville.
Deundre Bridges was identified as the gunman who shot a man in the abdomen outside Cameron’s Janitorial Service at the 1200 block of Jefferson Street Monday night.
An arrest warrant has been issued charging Bridges, 30, with the attempted murder of Troy Zains, 42.
Officers responded to the scene at 8:30 p.m. and found Zains suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso.
Bridges arrived at the business and began arguing with Rosa Cameron, the owner of the janitorial company with whom he fathered a child.
During the heated argument, Zains attempted to intervene and persuade Bridges to leave. It was then, according to witnesses, that Bridges shot Zains and ran away.
At the time of the shooting, Bridges was free on $20,500 bond on a variety of offenses, including domestic assault and multiple felony drug counts.

Ironically, one of Bridges’ most recent felony convictions, in August 2017, was for unlawful gun possession for which he received a two-year probated sentence.
