MURRAY, Ky. (WTVF) — A man who escaped from a work detail while incarcerated in Calloway County, Kentucky is believed to be in Buchanan, Tennessee.
Kentucky State Police said Henry M. Rickard Jr. was last seen operating a Calloway County Road Department vehicle near Sycamore Industrial Road in Murray.
He was in jail for drug and weapons charges.
Around 1 p.m., a truck believed to associated with Rickard was found abandoned in Weakley County, Tennessee. Authorities are now searching in Buchanan for Rickard.
KSP said he has family in West Tennessee.
