NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police are investigating a possible DUI after a man suffered critical injuries when hit by a car in Midtown.
Officials say the victim was crossing the 1800 block of Division Street when a driver, identified as 25-year-old Karson Tamas ran into him. He was not in a crosswalk.
The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say Tamas showed signs of being impaired. She was taken to the hospital for a blood sample before being booked into jail. Tamas has been charged with felony vehicular assault.
