Autopsy results of a man and woman found dead inside an Ashland City home in January shows the woman died well before the man, but no foul play is believed to be involved.
John Pendleton, 60, was found dead outside his Caldwell Road home and Mildred Jones, 67, was discovered dead in her bedroom.
Autopsy findings show Jones died of natural causes well before Pendleton, who then kept her death a secret for unknown reasons.
Jones died of natural causes in her bed from cardiovascular disease. Pendleton's cause of death was hypothermia.
There was no evidence of foul play or trauma on either victim. After consultation with District Attorney Ray Crouch, the investigation was closed.
