Man's Reckless Driving Leads To Arrest

A Nashville man was arrested for speeding through a Franklin neighborhood full of pedestrians.

Officials with the Franklin Police Department said 36-year-old Rodriguez German recklessly sped past an unmarked police car on Natchez Street, where sidewalks and yards were full of people.

They said he nearly hit two patrol cars before finally stopping at the 300 block of Natchez Street.

Police said German resisted arrest, and was belligerent with officers, but was taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with Reckless Endangerment and Resisting Stop, Halt, Frisk He was released on a $4,500 bond.
