Country superstar Martina McBride announced that she will be launching an initiative to support those battling cancer.
McBride has partnered with Sarah Cannon, a global cancer institute, to unite music and healthcare.
"As an artist I've seen firsthand the power of music and the power that it has in uniting and giving hope and giving strength, and I'm just proud to be the voice that connects individuals fighting cancer with the fully committed team of experts at Sarah Cannon."
The Sarah Cannon Tour was set to feature performances by McBride as well as other country stars to benefit several cancer support organizations.
The tour will stop at several U.S. cities and will also come to the Grand Ole Opry in October.
