NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A masked gunman robbed a South Nashville Taco Bell late Wednesday night.

Metro Nashville police were called to the Taco Bell on Nolensville Pike, near Paragon Mills Road, at about 11:00p.m. Wednesday.

The suspect, who is believed to be a man, was wearing all black when he approached the drive-thru window, showed a gun, and demanded cash.

There were several employees inside the store at the time. The restaurant was just one hour away from closing.

Surveillance video shows the man crouching below the drive-thru window, waiting for the employees to hand over the money. The employees complied with the gunman's demands and handed over money in an envelope.

The suspect ran toward a nearby apartment complex, according to police. K-9's were brought in to try to track down the suspect, but they weren't able to find him.
