After a year of renovations, the Maury County Boys And Girls Club has moved back into its original location - just in time for the school year.
The 76-year-old building is located on 8th Street in Columbia. It has been closed for nearly a year to have some upgrades made to the facility.
During that time, the club spent its time at Fairview Park and E-A Cox Middle School.
New features inside the building include a cafe, full kitchen, computer lab, study and tutoring room and a state-of-the-art music studio.
The move came as the organization partnered with the Maury County school system to form the "Greatness Academies."
With the partnership, the boys and girls club will have 14 locations, and be able to reach several more students in the county.
