A large amount of drugs was recovered in Maury County.
Officials with the Maury County Sheriff’s Office’s Drug Unit, along with Columbia Police Narcotics and Vice unit, Spring Hill Police Department, 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force, Lawrence County Narcotics Investigators, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant in Maury County.
Authorities said on Thursday that the search warrant turned up 59 pounds of drugs — most appeared to be marijuana. Officials added they also discovered $9,570, ten guns, vehicles, a tractor, and boats.
Details on arrests made in the case had not been released.
