May 31 COVID-19 Update: 23,006 cases in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed an additional 440 cases of COVID-19 across the state, bringing the total number to 23,006. The department said 364 deaths have been reported statewide.

TDOH officials said as of Friday, there have been 1,750 hospitalizations and 15,300 have recovered from the virus.

Earlier in the day, Metro Public Health Department officials confirmed 5,385 total cases of COVID-19 in Nashville/Davidson County, an increase of 100 in the past 24 hours.
