NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Mayor John Cooper made a fun wager with Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas.

Mayor Cooper wagered items from Southern V, Prince's Hot Chicken, Loveless Cafe and Brittle Brothers.

“The Titans are favored over the Chiefs by anyone who knows better,” said Mayor Cooper. “Our team has been dominant since the mid-season. They’re primed, ready, and hungry – about as hungry as my good friend Mayor Lucas will be when it turns out he won’t be receiving any of Nashville’s fabulous goodies. The Chiefs haven’t been to the Super Bowl in 50 years. The good news is, there’s always fantastic food being served up right here in Music City.”

The wager includes vegan goods to honor 15 Titans players who are on a plant based diet.

Mayor Lucas wagered some Kansas City barbecue and other local products on his team winning.

U.S. Representative Jim Cooper offered up some cookies, cupcakes and sweet treats to Representative Emanuel Cleaver in Kansas City. He responded with barbecue .
