Memorial Service Held For Chattanooga Shooting Victim

ATLANTA, Ga. - Tuesday night a memorial service was held for Lance Corporal Skip Wells in his hometown of Marietta, Georgia.

Wells was one of five military members killed by a gunman in Chattanooga last week.

Friends and family are gathered on the football field of his former high school, Sprayberry High, to remember him.

Wells' memorial included a color guard, the singing of the Star Spangled Banner, and a plane fly over the stadium.

The 21-year-old joined the Marine Corps last year and was the youngest of the five victims killed.

Meanwhile, funeral arrangements have been announced for U.S Marine Staff Sgt. David Allen Wyatt.

The service will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at Hixson United Methodist Church.

His family has chosen to lay him to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.

Members of the U. S. Marine Corp that served with David will be active and honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the at Boy Scouts of AmericaToys for Tots, or the Forgotten Child Fund
