MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Police Department has shown incredible support for the daughter of a fallen police officer.
Officer Tim Warren was killed in the line of duty four-years-ago. He was survived by his wife and two children.
Recently, Warren's daughter, Jewel, received an invitation for a father-daughter dance at her school. Since she wasn't able to go with her dad, six of his colleagues stepped in to help.
They escorted Jewel to the dance, complete with a new dress, roses, and a ride in a classic 1972 Cutlass Supreme.
Memphis police officials said that although they can't replace Officer Warren, they will always be there for his family whenever they are needed.
