LONDON - Part of being a news anchor is pronouncing words with which you may not be too familiar.
It can be tricky sometimes, but a British meteorologist in London took on the name of the toughest city in Europe during a weather report Wednesday -- and totally nailed it.
Meteorologist Liam Dutton was giving the forecast and just causally dropped in the name of a tongue-twisting city in Wales. Most wouldn’t even going to try to pronounce it.
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is 58 letters long -- and mostly consonants.
Dutton said he did learn Welsh as a child, which helped.
