Predators tickets are one of the hottest sports tickets in Nashville and with that they might be hard to get.

Fans are going to great lengths to get tickets and unfortunately some are getting scammed.

Metro Nashville police averages about 115 scams per month.

To avoid getting scammed, officials suggest buying tickets through Nashvillepredators.com, Ticketmaster, or Ticket Exchange.

Tickets purchased through these websites will allow fans to download tickets for a mobile-entry to Bridgestone Arena.

Ned Hardin, Senior VP for Ticket Sales and Youth Hockey, said that downloading tickets to mobile phones will help officials verify purchased tickets and there's a lot less chance of buying a counterfeit ticket.

"We’ve made great strides in this area by going mobile so it’s easy. If you’re buying paper tickets or a PDF it can be counterfeit," he said.

Predators tickets are a hot commodity. Tuesday's night game was the 110th consecutive sold-out game.
