A Hermitage Precinct Officer has been decommissioned after he was arrested and charged for stalking.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said 41-year-old Mekisha Page was decommissioned and assigned to desk duty after her arrest Tuesday night.
She was accused of making repeated phone calls and sending multiple derogatory text messages after the recipient, someone she used to date, requested that she stop communication.
The police department’s Domestic Violence Division conducted the investigation and obtained the warrant after consulting with the District Attorney’s Office.
Page was released after posting a $2,000 bond.
She graduated from the police department’s training academy in June 2013.
