A young couple from Franklin County was headed home Thursday night when their car broke down on the side of I-24.
They were out of money and out of luck, but a Metro Nashville Police officer, Sergeant Noble Taylor, saw them.
The couple had no money to afford a hotel room so Sergeant Taylor walked over to the Travelodge and paid for them to stay the night; so that they didn't have to sleep in their car.
As you can imagine they were in shock. “We didn't even know what to say we couldn't say thank you enough, and he was like this is just something I need to do,” said the couple.
On Friday, another random act of kindness came their way. Another stranger offered to pay to repair the couple's car.
They made in back to Winchester late Friday afternoon.
