NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was rushed to an area hospital Wednesday morning after he was stabbed multiple times.
The incident happened shortly before 5 a.m. on Claiborne Street south of Nashville.
Officials with Metro police said Paul Hawkins has been charged with aggravated assault in the case.
Hawkins and the alleged victim are apparently neighbors, according to police.
The man was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
No other details were known.
