NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police said they are investigating what led up to a shooting that killed a 19-year-old in Nashville.
Police said Chri’Shawn Harbison was taken to Skyline Medical Center Thursday, where he was pronounced deceased. Officers were called to the hospital at 5:45 p.m. and interviewed an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old who brought him to the hospital in a dark gray Nissan Altima.
Police said they believe Harbison was likely shot inside the Altima, but the circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
The Altima has been impounded and is being processed at the MNPD laboratory.
No charges have been filed, pending the completion of the investigation and a review by the District Attorney’s Office.
