Metro Police offer reward for help identifying Mapco thieves

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Police's South Precinct is asking for help from the public in identifying two men who robbed two separate Mapco locations this week.

The first robbery occurred on Monday at 3:20 a.m. when a man walked into the Mapco at 2101 Murfreesboro Pike and asked the clerk for a carton of cigarettes. The second suspect then entered the store and demanded money at gunpoint while his accomplice grabbed several cartons of cigarettes. The two fled the scene in an older model mid-size pickup truck.

The second robbery occurred at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday. During this robbery, both men entered the Mapco at 365 Harding Place at the same time and demanded cash at gunpoint from the clerk. They also took several cartons of cigarettes once more. This time they fled in a dark colored SUV.

During both of the robberies, one of the suspects wore a mask while the other did not.
