NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — An investigation got underway overnight after a Metro Nashville police officer’s patrol car was shot up outside his home.
The incident was reported shortly before 11:14 p.m. Sunday on Bridgecrest Drive in Antioch.
According to police, the officer was inside his home when he heard the gunfire coming from the street.
It is believed that the shooter fled in a gold or silver Nissan Altima.
Photos from the scene showed the vehicle was struck by multiple rounds. Several shell casings were also recovered.
