A man was taken into custody after allegedly leading Metro Police on a chase in a stolen SUV.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, Roy Webster stole the vehicle in Memphis and investigators tracked the car's GPS to a Walmart on Nolensville Pike.
When they got close, Webster allegedly took off and prompted a chase.
Officers said Webster later crashed into another car on Harding Place after reaching speeds of 70 miles per hour.
From there, he took off on foot – dodging trees and climbing fences as he tried to escape, police said.
Officers finally caught up to him and arrested him on multiple charges.
