A search got underway overnight after a fast food restaurant was robbed in Hermitage.
The incident happened Friday night inside a Subway on Bell Road, just off Stewarts Ferry Pike.
Metro Police said a man walked in and showed a handgun to two employees before grabbing the cash drawer and fleeing.
Witnesses said the gunman started walking south after the robbery.
Police said they’re looking into whether the gunman was also involved in another Subway robbery earlier this week in South Nashville.
