Brush fires have blazed all across middle Tennessee this week, keeping fire crews busy, and also worried about what's to come on Thanksgiving Day.
Windy and dry conditions fueled at least three brush fires in middle Tennessee on Wednesday, including one that spread to 25 acres in Williamson County.
No one was hurt in any of the fires, but fire crews are warning everyone ahead of Thanksgiving day cooking.
“I would encourage anyone frying a turkey to use extra precautions in light of the fact that everything's so dry,” said Ron Wills, with Shackle Island Fire and Rescue.
Crews were also called to help put out a brush fire in Warren County Kentucky on Wednesday.
83 Kentucky counties and 55 eastern Tennessee counties are under burn bans right now.
