(WTVF) — Military police are searching for a person of interested in a high speed chase near Fort Campbell.
Fort Campbell officials said the person is on foot wearing a red sweatshirt with a hood and black shorts.
Police searched near Jordan Springs Road, which is outside the Gate 10 area of the military base, but the search moved to the Woodlawn area around 10:50 a.m.
Residents were urged to keep doors locked and remain inside if possible.
Shortly before 5 p.m., the search was terminated. Officials said there was no longer a threat to the military base, but asked resident to remain vigilant.
