Kentucky officials confirmed a missing 41-year-old woman who may have ties to Tennessee was found safe, and a man has been arrested.
Lori Peavy was last seen Tuesday afternoon in the Paducah area with 42-year-old Billy Joe Williams. He was considered "dangerous."
Reports around noon on Thursday confirmed Peavy had been found safe, and Williams was taken into custody. The two were found at a motel in Fulton, Kentucky.
Both have ties to Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana, Florida, and North Carolina.
Williams was arrested for second degree assault and tampering with a witness. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail.
Kentucky State Police had said they were "concerned for [Peavy’s] safety."
