Teenager who allegedly shot 11-year-old girl in the head in North Nashville turns himself in to police

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police have identified a suspect in their investigation of a shooting that injured an 11-year-old girl Thursday night.

Trevaun Glenn, 16, who is now named in a Juvenile Court arrest order on charged of attempted criminal homicide, reckless endangerment, and unlawful gun possession in connection with Thursday's shooting turned himself in at the Midtown Hills Precinct this afternoon.

Police said a girl was shot just after 8:30 p.m. at a home on Blank Street, just south of Jackson Street in North Nashville.

According to investigators, the girl was shot in the head and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries. She's expected to be OK.

Police said a boy was involved in the shooting and ran from the scene. Officers said they have identified the boy, but haven't taken him into custody.
