A Metro Nashville Police Department detective was arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at another officer. He was also decommissioned.

Sergeant Andrew Injaychock was charged with felony aggravated assault. The 42-year-old was arrested just after midnight, early Saturday morning.

An investigation found the Midtown Hills Precinct Commander met with several detectives at the precinct on Thursday. Injaychock asked a female officer what was said during the meeting, and when she wouldn't say, he allegedly waved his unloaded pistol at her, insisting she tell him.

The woman left the room and returned, which was when Injaychock allegedly pointed the gun at her chest, demanding information.

Word of the incident did not reach the commander until early Friday afternoon.

Injaychock, a 20-year veteran of the department, was released from jail after posting a $15,000 bond.
