Metro Nashville Police Officer Trainee Brandon Moore was fired after being arrested on a charge of misdemeanor domestic assault.
Moore, 26, was arrested Tuesday afternoon after his girlfriend reported that he became aggressive toward her and held her down during a dispute at their Antioch apartment last Thursday.
He was released from jail after posting a $2,500 bond.
He entered the MNPD Academy on May 1.
