Several musicians and artists helped Charlie Daniels give back to charity at his 42th annual Volunteer Jam.

Travis Tritt, Luke Bryan, Kid Rock, Three Doors Down and many more joined Daniels at Bridgestone Arena for the concert Wednesday night.

The show also served as Daniel's 80th birthday celebration.

Yet, music wasn't the only thing on the singers' minds. Many of them spoke about this week's wildfires in Gatlinburg.

"Just terrible stuff, I mean just heartbreaking to watch and those are childhood memories for a lot of people from a lot of states, not just Tennessee and uh, to see some of that burn down is just um, just tragic," said Christ Stapleton.

Part of the proceeds will benefit Daniel's organization "The Journey Home Project" which helps veterans.
