NASHVILLE, Tenn. – More people have been treated for heat-related issues at the CMA Music Festival this year compared to last year, according to a representative for Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and the festival had not wrapped up yet.
On Saturday, a total of 206 people were treated, with six being taken to the hospital. Officials said that was the most they’ve had in one day.
Since Thursday, 526 people had been treated, and 16 had been taken to the hospital. There was still one day left to enjoy the festival.
According to reports, a total of 463 people were treated throughout the entire festival in 2014, with 15 being taken to the hospital.
